Planet Comics

Planet Comics (Fiction House, 1940–1953): the Golden Age’s great space-opera anthology — Lost World, Mysta of the Moon, Star Pirate, Auro, Gale Allen and more, drawn by artists such as Murphy Anderson, Lily Renée, Joe Doolin and George Evans. 69 of the 73 issues (#2, #4, #15 and #17 have no available scan). Context note: these are 1940s pulp comics; covers use period-typical “good girl” pin-up art and some stories contain dated racial and gender stereotypes. Presented unedited as historical material. Age rating 13+. Public domain in the US (copyrights not renewed).
