The second edition of La Furia Ilustrada is taking place at the Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral from October 9 to 11. This free event features over 170 exhibitors, marking a significant increase in participation compared to the previous year. The program includes more than 50 activities, such as book signings, workshops, and discussions covering comics, manga, illustration, and animation. International guests like Anton Gudim will join local artists to share their creative processes and new works. Attendees can participate in diverse sessions ranging from mural painting to poetry illustration workshops. The fair aims to foster dialogue about the various ways visual narratives are understood and practiced today. Given the wide variety of formats presented at the event, which medium do you find most effective for telling complex stories: comics, illustrated books, or animation?
