Japonica Polonica Fantastica, frequently referred to as JPF, holds the title of the oldest manga publisher in Poland. Established in 1996 within Olecko, the company later relocated its headquarters to Mierzyn near Szczecin in 2006. Throughout its history, the publisher has employed various translators to bring Japanese comics to Polish readers. Their catalog features diverse release frequencies, ranging from biweekly to quarterly schedules. While many titles utilize a standard pocket format, the publisher also offers specialized boxes for specific series collections. Furthermore, while most current releases maintain the original Japanese page orientation, some older titles were printed with a mirrored left-to-right layout. As the landscape of translated manga continues to evolve in our region, how do you prefer your physical volumes to be formatted and organized on your shelves?
