Alex Paknadel Discusses X-Men: Incursions
Writer Alex Paknadel joins X-Men Monday to preview the upcoming one-shot X-Men: Incursions #1. The story explores a multiversal collision between the Days of Future Past and House of M realities.
The one-shot features Kate Pryde as the central protagonist, navigating the emotional contrast between her dystopian timeline and the mutant utopia of House of M. Paknadel explains that the project was inspired by the multiversal decay concepts established during Jonathan Hickman's lead-up to Secret Wars. The issue is illustrated by Jim Towe and is scheduled for release on November 18, 2026. Paknadel notes that the narrative structure draws thematic inspiration from classic stories like A Christmas Carol.
