Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso Announce New 100 Bullets Series, Enemigos
DC Comics revealed at New York Comic Con 2026 that Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso are returning for a new seven-issue series titled 100 Bullets: Enemigos. The series is scheduled for release in 2027 under the revived DC Vertigo imprint.
This announcement coincides with the news that the current series, 100 Bullets: The US Of Anger, will be shortened from eight issues to seven. The original 100 Bullets series, which ran from 1999 to 2009, remains a landmark crime epic for the Vertigo label. The new project continues the expansion of the franchise following the recent relaunch of the Vertigo brand. Fans received the update during the 20th anniversary celebration of NYCC at the Javits Center.
