CBLDF Comic-Con Welcome Party Returns to San Diego
The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund is hosting its annual fundraising party during San Diego Comic-Con to support the protection of free expression in comics. The event features a silent auction, gift bags for early attendees, and community networking.
The fundraiser will take place on July 23, 2026, at The Westgate Hotel, with all proceeds benefiting the organization's legal and educational advocacy. Attendees can participate in a silent auction featuring exclusive collectibles and enjoy a community-focused evening. An SDCC badge is not required for entry to the event. Pre-event livestreams on Whatnot will also offer previews of auction items and additional fundraising opportunities.
