DC Black Label Revives Joker/Harley: Malicious Intent for 2027
DC Comics has officially uncancelled the highly anticipated sequel to Joker/Harley: Criminal Sanity, scheduling the series for a 2027 release. The creative team will now include Cat Staggs alongside returning members Kami Garcia, Mico Suayan, and Jason Badower.
Originally delayed after being pulled from retailer orders in 2025, the four-issue mature readers series follows Harley Quinn as she returns to Gotham to investigate a new string of grisly murders. The project was highlighted at New York Comic Con 2026 as a realistic serial killer thriller. The story explores Harley's efforts to seek justice outside of the GCPD while navigating the potential return of her nemesis. The series maintains the dark, gritty aesthetic established in the original 2019 title.
