DC Comics Announces DC Black Label Presents Anthology Series
DC Comics is launching a new anthology series titled DC Black Label Presents, featuring standalone 48-page stories for various characters. The series is scheduled to debut in the summer of 2027.
The anthology will focus on mature, self-contained narratives that operate outside of the main DC continuity. Initial issues will spotlight Zatanna, Poison Ivy, and O.M.A.C. with creative teams including Terry Dodson, Amy Reeder, and Denys Cowan. Executive editor Chris Conroy noted that the series will explore a wide range of characters, excluding Batman. Authors have been granted significant creative freedom and extended production timelines for these projects.
