DC Comics Leads Market Share as Marvel Declines and Image Gains Ground
DC Comics secured the top spot in weekly comic store market share, driven by strong sales of its Absolute titles. Meanwhile, Marvel saw a decline in its share while Image Comics successfully increased its presence in the rankings.
DC Comics captured 41.29% of the market share, with Absolute Batman #24 leading the list of bestsellers. Marvel followed with 28.62%, while Image Comics reached 19.07% with Terminal #3 representing their top entry. The data reflects sales from over 600 comic shops tracked between September 22 and September 28, 2026. DC dominated the top ten list by securing six of the available spots.
