Gates McFadden to write Star Trek: Crusher comic for IDW
Actress Gates McFadden is making her comic book writing debut with a new IDW limited series titled Star Trek: Crusher. The story will explore the two-decade gap in Beverly Crusher's life between Star Trek: Nemesis and Star Trek: Picard.
The upcoming series features artwork by Megan Levens and colors by Charlie Kirchoff. It is scheduled for release in the summer of 2027. This project serves as a significant expansion of the character's history, written by the actress who portrayed her for years. IDW Publishing views this as a key part of their ongoing celebration of the Star Trek franchise.
