Marvel and WEBTOON Partner to Launch New Marvel Comics App
Marvel is replacing its Marvel Unlimited service with a new digital platform developed by WEBTOON, launching on November 16. The new app will feature over 35,000 titles and offer a faster release window for new issues.
The new Marvel Comics app will support both traditional page-based reading and vertical-scroll formats. Subscribers can choose between a Base tier and an Ultimate tier, with the latter providing access to new releases just 30 days after print. Marvel Unlimited will officially shut down on December 28, with a migration process available for existing subscribers to transfer their data. A beta version of the new app will be previewed at New York Comic Con starting October 8.
