Marvel Launches New Digital Comics App in Partnership with Webtoon
Marvel is replacing its Marvel Unlimited app with a new platform developed by Webtoon that hosts over 35,000 digital comics. The new app will feature enhanced discovery tools and expanded content from Disney, Pixar, and other franchises.
The new Marvel Comics app launches on November 16 and offers a more intuitive reading experience across mobile and web browsers. Existing Marvel Unlimited subscribers can transfer their reading history to the new service. Subscription tiers include a standard plan at $9.99 per month and an Ultimate tier that provides earlier access to new releases. Pre-registration for a special founder's rate on the Ultimate annual plan is currently available.
