Marvel Unlimited to be replaced by new Marvel and WEBTOON app
Marvel Comics is shutting down its long-standing Marvel Unlimited service to launch a new digital reading platform developed in partnership with WEBTOON. The new app will feature both traditional page-based comics and vertical-scrolling titles.
The transition begins on November 16, 2026, with Marvel Unlimited officially closing on December 21, 2026. Current subscribers can migrate their reading progress and saved content to the new platform, which offers two subscription tiers starting at $9.99 per month. The new service will host a vast library including Marvel, Star Wars, and 20th Century titles. Existing subscribers will receive prorated refunds for any remaining time on their current plans.
