NYCC 2026: First Look at Star Wars | Marvel: Hope Assembles
Marvel Comics and Lucasfilm Publishing revealed new artwork for their upcoming crossover series, Star Wars | Marvel: Hope Assembles, at New York Comic Con 2026. This five-issue limited series, written by Kevin Smith and illustrated by David Marquez, launches in January 2027.
The series features a historic collision between the Marvel Universe and the Star Wars galaxy, highlighted by a cover from Alex Ross featuring Luke Skywalker and Spider-Man. Marvel showcased various variant cover programs designed to provide a consistent collecting experience for fans. The story follows Marvel heroes witnessing the events of A New Hope after a reality-shattering spell. The first issue is scheduled to arrive in comic shops on January 13, 2027.
