Stolen Blake and Mortimer original comic pages recovered
Authorities have recovered 250 original pages and covers from the Blake and Mortimer series that were stolen by a trusted associate. The perpetrator exploited his position within the Edgar P. Jacobs Foundation to misappropriate and sell the artwork.
Philippe Biermé, the former president of the Edgar P. Jacobs Foundation, abused his authority to steal the valuable comic materials. The recovered items include numerous original pages and covers created by the author. Legal actions were taken to address the breach of trust and the illicit sale of these historical comic assets.
