William Shakespeare's Star Wars: The Clone Army Attacketh Returns to Print
A new printing of Ian Doescher's Shakespearean retelling of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones is scheduled for release this December. The book features woodcut illustrations by Nicolas Delort and reimagines the film's script in the style of the Bard.
Originally published in 2015, this unique adaptation is part of a larger series that reimagines the Star Wars saga as Elizabethan-style plays. Third Eye Comics has opened pre-orders for the new run, which is expected to ship on December 2, 2026. The volume includes period-accurate dialogue and stage directions for the entire cast of characters. It serves as a creative crossover for fans of both classic literature and the sci-fi franchise.
