Zerocalcare's upcoming graphic novel explores punk culture and adulthood
Zerocalcare is working on a new autobiographical graphic novel tentatively titled 'Se ne valeva la pena', which explores the influence of punk culture on his life. The book is expected to be released by BAO Publishing in early 2027.
The story examines the author's life at sixteen and in adulthood, questioning how his introduction to the punk scene shaped his personal choices and worldview. While early catalog listings suggest a 256-page hardcover release, the author has noted that the title and publication date are still subject to change. This project follows his recent journalistic works and his 2024 graphic novel, 'Quando muori resta a me'.
