The Finnish Comics Society is hosting Sarjakuu, an open challenge throughout October designed for creators of all levels. This initiative encourages participants to enhance their creative skills and drawing techniques while enjoying the process. Starting October 1st, a unique theme is provided for every day of the month. Artists are free to interpret these prompts through finished comic strips, character designs, or simple sketches. You can join the challenge at any point during the month. To participate, share your work on Instagram using the hashtag #sarjakuu26 and tag @sarjakuvaseura, as selected entries will be featured in their official stories. The daily themes were developed in collaboration with Perjantaipaja. We invite you to share your own work in progress with the community; what theme are you most excited to illustrate this month?
