MMA webtoon
The Project: Caiman Tai: The Prophecy
Hi! I am looking for a 2D artist/colorist to collaborate on a single-episode Webtoon pilot. It is a fast-paced martial arts action story following a teenager who discovers a hidden world of people who channel animal abilities for MMA combat.
Scope of Work (Starting Small):
We are keeping this strictly to a single pilot episode to test our workflow and establish a solid pitch packet. I am not asking for a long-term commitment unless we work well together and want to continue the series.
The Division of Labor (What I Bring):
I am not just providing a script; I am providing fully formatted visual assets:
- 3D Storyboarding: I have already posed, lit, and rendered the entire pilot in 3D. The camera blocking, action sequences, pacing, and panel layouts are 100% complete.
- Lettering & Formatting: All speech bubbles, narration boxes, and sound effects are placed. Essentially, the pilot is fully built. However, I want a traditional 2D style for the final release.
What I Need From You:
You will not have to guess panel composition, anatomy, or perspective. I need an artist to take the 3D storyboard renders and apply their 2D line art, style, and colors over them to bring the final comic to life.
Compensation:
Payment is $150–$200 for the pilot episode upon completion. If we work well together, future episodes can continue as paid work and/or a long-term partnership as the series grows.
The Assets (Proof of Concept):
Here is the fully finished 3D pilot on both Webtoon and GlobalComix:
