Webtoon Canvas colorist

Hey everyone! My name is Solar and I’m currently seeking a

colorist

for my comic/webtoon

CABIN FEVER

! Here is the synopsis: “After Sora and Iris’s first real fight as a couple, Sora has to navigate her family’s cabin that's been infested with nightmares come to life to find a missing Iris.” This is a paid position at around $350USD/chapter over the span of 12 chapters. Each chapter is between 17-24 pages with the exception being the first one which is 33 pages.

All 12 chapters are completely 100% finished in regard to lineart

and multiple assets for things like in-scene paintings and phone screens will be provided. Hiring will follow a

2 stage process

in which I will select my

5 favorite artists

from the initial posts/DMs where a $20USD “test-coloring” on a few panels will be held (If you are selected the test panels can be used in the final). Then from the test colors I will pick the prime applicant. Stylistically the most

important

trait I’m looking for is the

ability to capture atmosphere

as this is intended to be a

Horror/Thriller title

. I am open to all styles of coloring, cell shading to painterly but

color is required

. Do note that this project is intended to be in both the scroll and page format so while most panels will translate over no problem, some things like 2-page spreads will have to be recolored for the scroll version. In this scenario

extra coloring will be paid for

. The timeline for this is very flexible but completion of the project in

10-12 months

would be ideal if possible. Please drop your portfolios under this post or send a DM my way if you are interested. Thank you so much for reading!
