Batman: Shadow of the Bat Officially Begins Batman's New Rebooted Era
Writer Deniz Camp and artist Javier Rodríguez are reuniting for a new Batman series titled Batman: Shadow of the Bat. The story follows an incident at an ACE Chemical Factory that threatens Gotham City.
Following their award-winning work on Absolute Martian Manhunter, the creative duo is bringing their unique visual style to this new project. The series is set within the same continuity as the main Batman timeline but remains distinct from the 1990s comic of the same name. Deniz Camp is also set to contribute to the upcoming Absolute Justice crossover event. The first issue of the new series is scheduled for release on December 31, 2026.
