The inaugural Compton Comics Expo is set to take place on October 24, 2026, at Compton College. This community-focused event is organized by Ray-Anthony Height and supported by Joseph Illidge’s company, Illuminous.
The convention aims to celebrate local talent and provide a platform for the next generation of storytellers. Attendees can enjoy free general admission, an artist alley, and various panels throughout the day. Industry veteran Joseph Illidge is sponsoring the event to help foster opportunities for creators and entrepreneurs.
