Big WEPA Music Studios Releases Creators Carnival Album
Big WEPA Music Studios has released a new concept album titled Creators Carnival, which captures the chaotic and energetic experience of attending New York Comic Con. The project celebrates twenty years of Comic Crusaders through a blend of hip-hop, Puerto Rican rhythms, and comic book culture.
The album features tracks that detail the highs and lows of convention life, from the stress of media credentials to the joy of connecting with creators. It serves as a musical tribute to the history of Comic Crusaders and the fan culture that sustains the industry. The production utilizes boom-bap drums and jazz textures to reflect the grit and attitude of New York City. Each song follows the narrative arc of a typical convention weekend, ending with the exhaustion and camaraderie of the final day.
