DC Comics Teases Potential Return of The Outsiders
DC Comics is dropping teasers for a new project from Joshua Williamson and Bruno Redondo that hints at the revival of the classic team, the Outsiders. The speculation stems from recent narrative tensions between Batman and the Justice League.
Recent promotional art suggests a conflict between Batman and the Justice League, leading many to believe he is preparing to reform his personal superteam. The Outsiders, originally formed in the 1980s, could serve as Batman's failsafe against the League's current alliance with supervillains. With DC actively reviving classic teams like the Doom Patrol and Legion of Superheroes, this potential project fits the publisher's current strategy. A collaboration between Williamson and Redondo would likely be the ideal creative force to reintroduce the team to modern readers.
