Verity Pennyworth Debuts New Vigilante Look in Batman #14
In the latest issue of Batman, Verity Pennyworth takes a more active role in crimefighting by defending Pennyworth Manor. She utilizes a makeshift costume featuring a plastic Batman mask to thwart a home invasion.
Verity Pennyworth, the great-niece of Alfred, has proven to be a capable addition to the Bat-Family by providing remote support and physical defense. During a recent home invasion, she successfully incapacitated intruders while Batman was occupied elsewhere. This development mirrors the history of her great-uncle, who occasionally adopted his own superhero personas like The Eagle. The issue is part of the ongoing Bad Seeds crossover event.
