Dynamite Entertainment Delays New Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel Comics to March 2027
Dynamite Entertainment has pushed the launch of its new Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel comic series to March 2027 to allow for more ambitious storytelling and increased page counts. The publisher confirmed that the titles will feature expanded content at no extra cost to readers.
The new Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, written by Kelly Thompson, is now scheduled for release on March 10, 2027. Both Buffy #1 and Angel #1 will feature significant page increases, with the former reaching 35 pages and the latter 32 pages within 48-page comic formats. Writer Kelly Thompson emphasized that reading both series is essential for the initial story arc. The launch will also introduce a new villain named Leviathan to the Angel storyline.
