God Packs Return to Magic: The Gathering
Wizards of the Coast is bringing back God Packs for the 2027 release of Nauctis: The Sunken Realm. The company is also simplifying its booster pack structure and removing guaranteed foils from standard packs.
Starting in 2027, God Packs will appear in both standard and Collector Boosters for the new set. These rare packs contain high-value selections of mythic and rare cards, with varying odds depending on the pack type. Wizards of the Coast is also reverting to a standard booster format, effectively ending the Play Booster SKU. These changes aim to streamline product offerings while creating exciting moments for live-streamed pack openings.
