Manta Expands Content Library to Include Manga
The global webtoon platform Manta is diversifying its catalog by adding Japanese manga to its existing collection of webtoons and web novels. This strategic expansion aims to create an all-in-one storytelling platform for its international user base.
Parent company Ridi announced that Manta will now feature popular manga titles alongside its established webtoon library. To celebrate the launch, the platform is partnering with Kodansha to offer significant discounts on over 400 titles through April 20. This move is designed to foster a more comprehensive ecosystem where users can access various comic formats in one place. Manta continues to grow its global presence, having reached 19 million cumulative downloads since its 2020 debut.
