Marvel Comics has released preview pages for the second issues of its new horror-themed Midnight Universe series. The creators behind Midnight X-Men, Midnight Spider-Man, and Midnight Fantastic Four shared insights into their dark reinterpretations of these iconic characters.
Jonathan Hickman’s Midnight X-Men explores a world of mutant vampires, while Phillip Kennedy Johnson’s Midnight Spider-Man depicts a more somber, monstrous evolution for Peter Parker. Benjamin Percy’s Midnight Fantastic Four introduces a Lovecraftian take where the team is not yet a family and faces body-horror afflictions. These previews offer a glimpse into the unsettling narratives driving the new horror-inspired imprint. Marvel has not yet announced specific release dates for these second issues.
