Naver Webtoon Appoints New Co-CEOs
Naver Webtoon has transitioned to a co-CEO leadership structure by appointing Kim Yong-soo and Kim Kyu-nam. This change allows former CEO Kim Jun-koo to focus on his role as CEO of the parent company, Webtoon Entertainment.
Kim Yong-soo and Kim Kyu-nam will now lead Naver Webtoon to enhance regional growth strategies and organizational synergy. Kim Yong-soo will continue his duties as President of Webtoon Entertainment, while Kim Kyu-nam will serve as Chief Administrative Officer. Kim Jun-koo will dedicate his efforts to global market expansion as the CEO and Board Chair of Webtoon Entertainment. This restructuring aims to improve global governance efficiency while strengthening professional management tailored to the Korean market.
