Statement Regarding Early Release of Eisner Winner List
Comic-Con International addressed an internal error that caused the Eisner Award winners list to be published prematurely. The information was live for 45 minutes before the site was taken offline.
The organization explained that the list was accidentally made public during the standard website preparation process. They expressed regret for the mistake and thanked media outlets for withholding the leaked information. The statement also acknowledged the attendees who celebrated the nominees and winners at the July 24 ceremony.
