Dargaud has introduced a new collection titled Intermezzo, designed to offer shorter, more accessible, and affordable stories. This series focuses on pure fiction and aims to help readers discover new authors within their catalog. Among the first releases is Jane dans les nuages by Jordi Lafebre. This work follows two British teenagers in the nineteenth century as they embark on a hot air balloon journey. The story highlights the protagonist's narcolepsy, a condition that leads to unexpected consequences during their flight. Alongside this title, the publisher has released three other works: Pensionnaires by Pierre-Henry Gomont, Oranges amères by Javi Rey, and Figures imposées by Cristina Bueno and Marzena Sowa. A second wave of releases is already planned for next year. Do you prefer reading shorter, self-contained graphic stories or long-running series?
