DC Comics and Penguin Random House have released a new 400-page deluxe hardcover edition of V for Vendetta for Local Comic Shop Day. This special release includes the original miniseries alongside behind-the-scenes content and a digital code for the 2006 film.
The hardcover edition was released on September 26, 2026, and is currently available for $54.99. It features artwork inspired by the live-action movie and serves as a comprehensive collection for fans of the dystopian classic. This release arrives as anticipation builds for a potential television adaptation currently in development for HBO. The volume is published under DC's Black Label imprint.
The first issue of IDW's crossover series blends the Wizard of Oz with Godzilla for an irreverent, comedic take. While the artwork and humor are highlights, the story ultimately lacks the thematic depth expected from these iconic franchises.
