Ignition Press Announces New Sci-Fi Series The Caretaker
Producer Jeremy Lambert and artist Claire Roe are teaming up for a new sci-fi comic series titled The Caretaker. The story follows an aspiring astronaut who becomes linked to an alien entity tasked with warning humanity of impending galactic destruction.
The series centers on Jenny Brennan, who discovers a universe-altering truth during a 1976 Andes expedition led by Neil Armstrong. As she balances her role at NASA with the burden of a cosmic mission, she must navigate personal family struggles and a looming threat to Earth. The double-length debut issue is scheduled for release on February 10, 2027, through Ignition Press. The creative team also includes colorist Jordie Bellaire and letterer Becca Carey.
